Who we are

Performance Excellence Northwest is a group of over 200 volunteers who partner with schools, healthcare organizations, manufacturers, government agencies, small and large organizations and non-profits to help them improve overall performance using the renowned national Baldrige Excellence Framework and leading continuous improvement tools.

What we do

We educate organizations in the use of the Baldrige performance excellence framework, conduct third party assessments and administer the only regional awards and recognition program for performance excellence in the Northwest (WA, OR, ID, AK).

Why we do it

We believe strong organizations committed to performance excellence create more value for their employees, stakeholders and communities. As local citizens, we’re invested in helping these organizations achieve their objectives, become role models for other businesses and make the region a better place to learn, work and live.

Tools for Performance Improvement

Assess

We offer different types of assessments to benchmark your organization’s performance and provide actionable feedback for improvement.

Volunteer

Volunteer examiners gain business, management and leadership skills and training that can improve their own performance, help in their own organizations and provide a greater understanding of how organizations function.

Learn

We’re committed to sharing the best information and knowledge to help you and your organization excel.

Testimonials

We are now organizing our ‘nuts and bolts’ team with associated workgroups focused on the Baldrige Excellence Framework. I would highly recommend this offering to anyone seeking Baldrige or even considering a journey to excellence.
– Eileen Branscome , Chief Operations Officer, Mason General Hospital

“Performance Excellence Northwest’s unique leadership approach assisted our staff in developing the framework and refining our Baldrige values as we started drafting our first Baldrige application. Their Baldrige Rapid Access approach not only accelerated our application process but improved the quality of that application.”

Scott Hilburn, President Board of Commissioners, Mason General Hospital.
